STONE SOUR Featured On May 31 'Headbanger's Ball'

STONE SOUR, the recently re-launched group formed by SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor and guitarist Jim Root, will be the special guests on the "Headbanger's Ball" the night of May 31 on MTV2. The resurrected metal program — which had an eight-year run between 1987 and 1995 — airs at 10:00pm ET/PT. STONE SOUR will tape the episode the day before with temporary guest host Rob Zombie.

STONE SOUR are currently on a headline tour in support their self-titled debut and the band's latest video and single "Inhale". SYSTEMATIC, RA, and POWERMAN 5000 -- which features Rob Zombie's brother, Spider One — are opening the shows. The tour wraps up Thursday, May 29 at New York City's Roseland.
